I appreciate you asking. Chad's memorial service was on the 10th. It was the first my older two ever attended. Many shared such fond stories. All so very sad. My H said it's still awkward around LEO. Several actually attended his memorial service. I've been wondering about the general vibe now and what they're all saying. I mean, many of these LEO knew him very well. They trained with him and knew his family. How do they reconcile what they know, their friendship, with the senseless and unnecessary death that is deemed justified due to a perceived threat? We absolutely do not buy their story that he was holding a sharp object and lunged at the officers. Absolute bullshit.
