I have a wedding this weekend and because of an injury, had to shop for a new dress that would accommodate a knee immobilizer.
I can't wear heels, knee is unstable and I'm walking with a hard limp and a cane. I bought this dress today, but I can't find flats I like. I've narrowed it down to fug dr. Scholl's slip ins, or I may just say screw it and wear chuck Taylors under the dress. Thoughts?
Thank you! The front of the shoes are actually really visible when I walk, but I also need to put a temporary hem in it so I don't trip and kill myself, so I think they will be even more noticeable. I am leaning toward the chucks.
hi725, Do you have a pair of black sneakers? I had a foot injury last year and spent months in a walking boot. I wore a black nike on my other foot. Comfort and stability are the top priority when dealing with an injury, and people understand that. Black at least blends in.
Winner: I bought these in March and forgot all about them. They look cute under the dress and they stay in my feet, so this is it. I may pack the chucks as backup, just in case. Thank you for your help!
