I was so vested in this, I almost wanted to call my daddy and tell him off lol!

Just a random update- so I finally met my dad's girlfriend at Christmas dinner.

She was nice. It was a tad awkward because she seemed really outgoing but no biggie. I was glad my boyfriend and rest of my family were there so it wasn't 1 on 1.

She has 2 kids that are both early teens. The boy was nice. The girl seemed to be going through the typical bitchy teen girl mode lol. She stayed on her cell phone the whole time and I don't think I heard her speak.

It's weird my dad has this other family, especially with 2 teens kids. I definitely think it would be awkward to stay at the house (I assume one of the kids is sleeping in my high school bedroom) not because I'm particularly sentimental but I guess it doesn't feel like my house anymore. Luckily my mom lives around the corner so I can always stay with her. But I'm glad he's happy and things seem to be going well.

I can't believe your dad would want to deal with teens again. I taught hs and I don't know how teen parents cope.

Agreed. I've been out of the house for 17 years, no way would I want to go back to that. But I guess love makes you do crazy things lol.
