Selected for recruiting

Anyone have experience with da select army recruiting? They are loozing at h for recruiting he inky noticed because they have some sort of code on his erb. He called them they said he should know within 2 months if he was selected. They also said if selected he has greater influence on where he goes. Supposedly the hours aren't as bad as they once we're in recruiting. Any one know about recruit in recently and how it truly is I don't put much store in the army we can do this and you won't have. Ray hours and you can pick where you want to be crap.

My friend's husband did recruiting for two or three years. Her H is Army but close enough to where they could live on an Air Force Base which is how we met. She liked it because he had been deployed so much that this was the longest stretch they had gone without a deployment. Not 4 months at their new duty station coming off recruiting, he was deployed. I think my friend's main issue was the extra long hours and events (like high school football games) that her H had to go to.

Thanks ladies. Obviously we won't know anything for awhile. I am mostly scared about the hours.

My husband was a Navy recruiter. The hours weren't TERRIBLE but there was a lot of driving for him so he did get home late sometimes.

He has a school date. His Sgt major is trying to get him out of it. We actually don't mind. One of my parents is a recruiter and he has been a big help in giving us information.

ETA: for anyone who may need it we have gathered and gotten a lot of informaitno on Army recuriting so if anyone wants soem information let me know I can give what we collected from talking to people.
