Victoria vs. Vancouver with 3 y.o.

Which is better with a 3 year old? We would take the Clipper to Victoria or drive to Vancouver. How walking/public transport-friendly is Vancouver? Since we have the toddler, taxis are out (lack of carseat). Is it more or less walkable/public transport friendly than Victoria?

Victoria is much more walkable than vancouver in my opinion,its a much smaller city. Ive used public transport in victoria and it was easy to navigate.

If I were doing it, I'd take the train to Vancouver (we just did this and it was so fun and much more relaxing) and use public transportation, which we found pretty easy.

Overall I really like Victoria and prefer it over Vancouver, but I could see how Vancouver might be a better choice with more kid friendly things (zoo, science museum etc).

Victoria. We did it with M when she was 3 and I was severely pregnant with B. It was really fun!
