DH had an appointment with the urologist this morning (IF related) still no answers but lots more tests. I am kind of getting sick of this. I think I have already accepted/mourned for the most part and come to terms with it but I think it is finally starting to hit DH that this might not happen for us.

H did surprise me with the Burberry Banner bag I have been coveting forever. I showed it to him awhile ago saying that if he ever wanted to get me a present, this would be it but he cant remember anything. He said he went to Nordstrom and had the salesperson show him some bags but he picked this one out himself lol. I love it.

threejs, where are you (or your mommandem lol) from? My grandmother was from GA and she used to make it on Saturday mornings (because fish on Fridays), so it's one of my very favorites, too.

The weather is absolute perfection right now. I wish it could stay like this for a couple months .

What is with these bosses thinking they can do whatever they want with no repercussions? Does your job do an exit interview? With that number of people leaving I would think some questions would be being asked.

I am dreading going back to work. Even just seeing emails makes me hate my job. While I didn't get that other job I applied for, I was super close and the hiring manager wants to stay connected. We will meet for coffee next week. I am hoping that within the next 3-4 months I will get that position in that department.

My birthday has been amazing!!! The restaurant we went too gave us a free bottle of champagne. Yay! I can't believe I am 26 already! I've had the greatest day and we didn't even do much at all. Now I must pack.

Just realized I missed this tag last week. Sorry I wasn't ignoring you!  My mommandem (lol) are from the Mississippi delta, though my parents live up here in the DC suburbs now.  We still have fish and grits on Saturday mornings, and sometimes when no one feels like making other sides on Fridays, we'll have fish and grits on Friday nights.  

And, just like that, now I want some fish and grits. lol
