Hi guys. I hope everyone had a good weekend.
Tman was camping again with the scouts. James and I...aren't doing great. Ebbs and flows and all that.
I hate Tman's school right now. You wouldn't believe how much homework he has and if it's late, he gets half credit. If it's more than a day late, 0%. But he has so much it's like impossible to get it all done and allow for anything else. He shouldn't go to school all day and the come home and do homework all night. He's still a kid!
Still selling popcorn. The troop has extra so we are trying to push through some of it so they don't have to return a bunch. He's up to $3600. If he gets to $4k, he can get a GoPro camera in addition to the XBox One that he's already getting. These prizes are crazy! But the thing that I like is that he will get about $1k into his "scout account" to pay for his camping trips, gear, etc. I'm more than happy to sit in front of Fred Meyer for several hours/day for several weekends in the fall to avoid paying for all his stuff.
We are going to SoCal in 16 days. It won't be a full blown vacation, but we will get away and also get to see my grandma and get a day at Disneyland. I'm mostly looking forward to Tman getting a break from school...which is pitiful since he just started.
Not much here. Class yesterday, today and tomorrow and Thursday. Just been working. Learning a lot. Doing refunds and write offs and sending stuff to collections. Dealing with people who don't want to pay their bills.
Confirmed with my grandparents to book the cruise next April for D's 40th! Yikes, how is my husband 40??!?!?!
Just also gonna slip this in here for thoughts and prayer. My sister was diagnosed with stage one fallopian tube cancer and will be undergoing chemo via pills. Just keep her in your thoughts please. She is so young and been through so much already.
@aellasbeth *HUGS* sweeetie. Stage 1 is super treatable but it's still scary.
Ugh, waiting on a period that is being slow. I'm going to guess starting with my CPAP is confusing my body. I managed to wear it 7 hrs last night! And what's super sad is that my rib cage is rather SORE. Apparently I'm not used to BREATHING while sleeping? I took it off this morning at 6am because my ribs were tired and I was getting mad at the machine for making me breathe. Yeeaah. Saturday was good, we went to the Fair and met up with ChampagneSupernova and her hubs as they happened to be there. Sunday I spent with another headache.
I put on my big girl panties and signed up for the HTML & CSS class that starts Wednesday since the class I was taking first this term got cancelled due to low enrollment. I'm not looking forward to this one and was bummed as I really was interested in Infographics. I finally scheduled a hair cut for Thursday. I can't figure out a new style to try so back to the old but I have paperclips in holding my hair off my neck right now..the hair that isn't up in a rubber band. I'm a joke, people. A joke.
@aellasbeth hugs to your family and sending all the good thoughts I can for your sister! georgeharrison- hugs, hope the ebbs and flows straighten out.
Hey y'all, hope you have been doing well. We were in Southern california with the ILs last week and had a great time, it was too fast. I was a bit miffed because we spent a lot of money on the house and it turned both my SILs and my hair bright green. It turns out it is caused by metals and not by chlorine. I am going in tomorrow to try to fix it, I am hoping that they don't have to color it.
Right before we left I found out I did not get a job I was interviewing for. I was really bummed and feeling really crappy about myself but got a call today for an amazing job. The only problem is that it starts while we are in Asia. I feel like I will be job hunting forever. I am going through with the interview because it is the unit I want to work on, but UGH.

The fella & I were at the fair Saturday too! It was fun, but I'm good with not going again for awhile.
The rest of my weekend was pretty good. Hung out with my mom, her BFF & 2 of her daughters (who are seriously like little sisters to me) Friday night. Saturday, the fella & I went to the fair, came home, had dinner at his place & then went to the little red hen for a bit. It was fun people watching, and to do something out of the usual. Made breakfast Sunday morning, then I went home while he was working. I made chicken noodle soup & went back over that evening.
