Akershus or Garden Grill for PPO Breakfast

I'm already planning on CRT and 1900 Park Fare for Princesses. And Tusker House for Mickey.

I DS will be 7 and DD will be 5.
They don't really care about Chip and Dale. DD is obsessed with princesses.

Will that be a princess overload?
Is the food at Akershus breakfast too weird for really picky eaters?

Akershus breakfast is very American. They bring eggs, potatoes, and bacon/sausage to the table, and then there are plenty of delicious donut holes, croissants, bagels, fruit, etc on the buffet.

We had it and liked it. We may do both Akershus and GG on our next trip.

I think 3 character meals is plenty, I'd rather do something else.

Akershus breakfast isn't weird at all.

There is a lot of overlap with CRT and Akershus. I agree that three character meals sounds like plenty.

Of those I would drop 1900 Parkfare. The character interaction is good but the food is pretty terrible. Akershus and CRT are pretty similar in who you see. That said, we did both one trip and DD was in heaven.

Couldn't disagree more! We had SUCH a delicious dinner at 1900 PF. It was our favorite character meal of the trip.

Really? Breakfast or lunch? When did you go? We went in July (dinner) and the food was cold and tasteless. I hope it's improved because the character interaction is great.

I think all restaurants are hit and miss at any given time though.

abs - we also had dinner in July. It was like a 5:15p reservation, so everything was fresh and hot. I had a salad, strawberry soup, some grilled lime chicken, mojo pork...not sure what else, or what DH had, but it was all super tasty!

Garden Grill. I thought the food was good, it's a calm atmosphere, and better location.

We had lunch at Akershus and really enjoyed it, but it makes more sense to me to do it when all of World Showcase is open and we are done with Future World.

PPO Akershus will put you right by Frozen Ever After so if you get out right before 9, you will beat all the rope drop crowds.

After 2 terrible dinners at 1900 Park Fare (since they changed SO much to weird seafood that even my husband doesn't like), we are officially done with it as well. We had been going on our first night every trip since DD1 was born.

All the princesses at CRT and Akershus overlap except Belle (Akershus) and Jasmine (usually at CRT. Occasionally someone like Rapunzel will be in place of Jasmine).

That being said we do both every trip because my girls are obsessed with princesses.
