The stretch marks around my belly button are pretty faint, but I have some ugly ass stretch marks on my hips. I also have scar where my cat scratched my belly just a few weeks before DS was born that I don't think will ever fade.
Mine were pretty bad after my first and I got a ton more with my second. They are so far reaching now I am always afraid my shirt will ride up a bit and someone will see them. I am trying out strivectin now, hope it works at least a little.
I always say it looks like my ass was attacked by a bear. I think they are already starting to fade.
I do have one pretty bad stretch mark above my belly button that I love, though. I first noticed it one morning when I was about 34 weeks pg after DD had had an extremely active night. Yes, I'm weird!

Don't tell me this ;(
I am hoping I won't get anymore when we have #2, my tummy already looks like a war zone. (And they really hurt when I was pregnant. Stretch mark pain was probably one of my worst pg pains aside from hips & pelvis.)
I am jealous of every who mentioned in Auberge's post that they made it through pregnancy without stretch marks.
It looks like an angry tiger clawed my entire stomach...am I alone?
No way! I have them from my lower belly allllll the way to my ankles...everywhere in between. Extreme water weight and bedrest were not kind to me last pregnancy. Good news is. they faded a LOT between pregnancies and seem to be back but not with a vengeance (so far) this time.
My stomach is very scary and looks like Freddy Krueger attacked it! Although one of the l&d nurses told me she had seen much worse so that made me feel a little better. I plan on getting a tummy tuck in a few years so hopefully that will eliminate some of the stretch marks but it doesn't matter too much...I don't wear bikinis anymore.

I didn't get any during pregnancy, but I have a ton of them on my hips, butt, and the backs of my thighs from puberty. I don't know how I got them when I was 13, but not when I was 31 and huge.
I started getting mine at the beginning of my 3rd tri. I'm sure I made them a ton worse by scratching my belly all the time but HOLY HELL did my stretch marks itch. Like, by far the WORST itch I had ever had. (TMI) Worse than a yeast infection. So I have wide, deep, dark brown (I'm very pale) stretch marks all over my entire stomach. Plus some on my breasts and inner thighs. Blech.
I got them very close to the end of my pregnancy like 36-37 weeks.
It was so funny the way I discovered them....I was admiring my belly in the mirror rejoicing in the fact that I didn't have any stretch marks and thought that I had made it through without them. I told DH this and he's like "yeah, you don't have any except underneath."
Crap, he was right! I didn't see them at first since they were hiding underneath the belly.
Now they're mostly faded, but my belly will never look the same. *sigh*

My husband noticed the same thing.
But he was smart enough to keep his mouth shut. I found mine after baby was born, but they had been lurking there for a few weeks. They're not bad now. I was never really a bikini person anyway.
I have them all over below my belly button...I was OK with that & pleased they stayed "below the belt" until 3 small ones showed up above my belly button AFTER I gave birth to #3....damn I was pissed.

i wish i just had stretch marks! I don't really have them - the ones that are left have totally faded.... but i have disgusting elephant skin - and flaps that won't go away until i have a tummy tuck- thanks to my twins (hence, "twin skin" being a term we often use in the MoM community).
i can't wear anything fitted without spanx to smooth things out. It's just gross.

I have a few on my lower belly but they are faded to silver now, but lower abs look too weird for a bikini anyway and honestly, even at my happy weight as I am now, I have an an apple shape and don't look good in bikinis. So never say never, but I doubt I will get a tummy tuck.
