I laughed the entire episode. Charlie with the white guilt also had me cracking up, especially since they were eating Popeyes.
That episode was so hilarious. The writing on that show is so well done. They do not get nearly as much credit as they should. Junior in the pants suit with bc in the pocket. 😂😂😂
Awesome job, skwcm80! I'm glad your knee is doing better!
orangeblossom and thejackpot, yes, it was hilarious! This was a really good episode. I was relieved, because I didn't know what to do with that 30 minute Disney commercial they did a couple weeks ago. Like @natariru, I was also pleased to see Daveed Diggs again .
I'm sorry, @natariru. Do you guys ever have "quiet time?" This was a must for DS when he was little, because I think his actual goal was to talk me to death. Of course, once he got older, getting conversation out of him became like pulling teeth, so I missed the heck out of his chatty period.
I'm at my breaking point with S. He has been waking up earlier and earlier and is basically a chattering Tasmanian devil from sun up to sun down. If he's not talking, he's singing, if he's not singing, he's making mouth noises. I NEED HIM TO SHUT THE FUCK UP FOR 5 MINUTES.
I give mine snacks when I need a moment of quiet. Sure, she hums while she eats, but the difference in noise level is very noticeable. Friends and family have even commented on it. It's literally the only way to get her to STFU.
I think long cardigans have taken the place of pants (because I've basically given up on these) as the new thing I'm insanely picky about. I must have looked at thousands over the past few weeks and haven't found one I want yet .
@natariru, you have my sympathy. I have a chatty one too. I know it's frowned upon but I give her her kindle when I need a break. Somehow seeing Daniel Tiger curled up in her bed is a novelty. Gives me some peace. I also let her paint on the patio which she loves to do solo. Gives me a minute. My cousin took her and her brother yesterday and I went to Marshall's and the grocery store without them, it was bliss. So quiet and I could actually cross the street without wrangling anyone, I felt about 10 yrs younger😊
He'll sit and read books or do a puzzle. He's great at playing independently, actually.
Well, this part is great at least--I am amazed by how many children are not like this anymore.
I have one who is good at it & one who is terrible at it. It feels like an extension of their personalities since one kinda hates people & the other needs to be friends with eeeeeeveryone.
The worst is they never want to play together at the same time. That was supposed to be the benefit of two.
You have my sympathies too @natariru. Yesterday I tried so hard to get DD to watch a movie so I could just have some quiet for a little while and close my eyes. I did manage to get in a quick nap, but she was not interested in sitting still for a whole movie. Then she came in my bed last night talking about she doesn't want to sleep alone after she refused to take a nap. Girl, bye.

I CANT HEAR YOU! Lol
Yours will be different. I feel like it's just mine. lol

My sister and I didn't play much together either. Mostly bc she wanted to be a dog so it was hard to play anything when she was pretending to wag her tail and would answer in barks, lol.
She's normal now & we are BFFs
;D
I find this extra hilarious because BabyLiu is always asking her brother to pretend to be a cat & he looks at her like she's crazy.
