Just another lurker coming out of hiding.

Hi All,
It seems that now would be an appropriate time to introduce myself. I have been an active lurker on the nest for ages. When I was helping my sister plan her wedding, I found the community boards on the nest and was hooked. I Lurk because I am single and have no children of my own so I don't have much to add, but I am FASCINATED by people and their unique perspectives.

You all crack me up, and give voice to my inner snark on a regular basis.

I do have a background in crisis intervention and social work, specializing in children's issues, and currently teach pre-K.
I'm sure that I will remain relatively quiet here, but I thought I'd at least introduce myself. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have (within reason...it IS the internet after all )

Thanks all! I like to think that being a Godm butamma to 8 gives me some cred! But I get to live my life and hand them back at some point. So... God bless the real Mommas.
