Not sure they have ever had a rice krispy treat but I am sure that would be a HUGE hit.
When we were kids, my siblings and I begged our mom to make rice krispy treats for us, because other moms made them. We loved rice krispies and marshmallows, so it seemed like a perfect treat. We hated them....still not a fan. lol
I feel like you almost get too many snacks on the dining plan
I need to really research snacks or we are going g to end up wasting a lot of we go with he dp!
I think the assumption is that people will have a big breakfast and a big dinner and snack in the middle of the day. Alternatively, you can use a snack credit for a light breakfast and use meal credits for lunch and dinner.
We always use it on ice cream or water bottles. Between the two, we don't find them hard to use!
I have a dining plan question...my H, who booked the trip, doesn't remember. If our son is free (18 months), he does not get his own dining plan, right?
We're doing a lot of buffets so it's easy for him to eat off our plates, but I wanted to be prepared for the other restaurants. He eats a lot so we can't always share.

We had the dining plan 2 years ago when our twins were under 2. You are right. They don't get their own dining plan. They can eat for free at buffets and family style meals (like the breakfast at Ohana). Since we did at least one of those types of meals each day, we either used one of our QS credits for them to share a meal or filled in with snack credits. I think one night we bought McDonald's for the whole family. One night we used meal credits to get Pizza delivered to the room. We also had some snacks we brought with us. In the end we had to buy very little beyond the dining plan to keep them fed.
We didn't do any TS meals where we ordered a single entree (DD and I did CRT without H and the twins). If you do those types of meals, kids under 2 can eat off your plate or you can order something separate for them.

dd2 is going to be 2 when we go in Jan. we have a buffet per day and we plan on sharing the quick service meal with her. dd1 doesn't have to get a kids meal on the quick service, they don't track so I'm going to have her get a regular large meal to share. also my bag will be packed with pouches to supplement

When I was on the DP we used some of our snacks to order appetizer type items at QS restaurants, for example French onion Soup at BOG or clam chowder at Columbia Harbor House.

I think we might have done something similar at BOG. It was our last day there and we were like, what do we have on our DP? Ok, let's use it up.
