14 confirmed cases in University Middle School in Greeley.

2 cases in Loveland this week.

I don't have a link since it's from a CO science based medicine group that I'm still on the email list for, but I do have a link for 2012 stats. 247 cases in the first 4 months.

Yeeeesh. I'm not in CO but these outbreaks scare the crap out of me, I still need to get my booster. I will be calling my doctor tomorrow.

Holy crap. There was one at my oldest's middle school a few months ago. I breathed a huge sigh that we escaped.

Awesome. Kids aren't fully immunized until they're 5 or so right? I don't think we'll be going to public play places for a while.

My aunt and uncle in the Portland area are foster parents. They want to visit my mom a couple hours away in Washington, but can't bring the baby unless they promise not to stop in stores, restaurants or rest areas due to the pertussis outbreak in WA. The baby is still too young to be immunized.

At my last checkup the dr suggested the booster even though I officially don't need it for a couple of years . . . she didn't need to say it twice.

I hate this. I'm in CO...need to make sure shots are up to date. Time to make an well check with the doc anyhow!
