Tonight I think we need to run to lowe's to buy more paint, paint rollers, and pint brushes to keep working on our nursery closet that was painted red.
Tomorrow some friends and I are driving out to another friend's 10th marathon and surprising her at mile 22 and running her in. Tomorrow night DH is going to a board game night and I'm skipping it because I have to be up early Sunday.
Sunday I'm going down to the beach to run a half marathon. We'll probably get lunch after and if it's nice hang around a bit.
We also need to finish cleaning and doing some organizing since my dad is coming next Thursday to visit!!
Tonight I have no plans, aside from complete slothfulness.
Tomorrow morning I'm going for a run, then getting a pedi. In the afternoon DH and I have tickets to see Girl on the Train at the fancy movie theater with recliners at Assembly Row. We're usually too cheap to pay $13 for a movie, but at nearly 9 months pregnant I'm not sitting in Somerville Theatre's tiny 100 year old seats to save $4! Then we're going to Outback Steakhouse because I've had a bizarre craving for it (DON'T JUDGE ME).
Sunday a friend is throwing an afternoon brunch party in Cambridge. ETA: OH! And totally forgot, I'm meeting up with a GBCNer in Portsmouth in the morning

Have fun RockNVoll ! scm1011 , hope the movie is good! I thought about sneaking out to see it this week (I'm on vacation), but it didn't happen. bostonmichelle , good luck with the painting/organizing and the run!
This week off has flown by, ugh. Today is a lazy day - we went out for breakfast after getting a flu shot for Ben, and we may go to the park later. Tomorrow, we have swim class in the morning, then we're heading out to meet my brother, SIL and nephew for apple/pumpkin picking and lunch. Not sure about Sunday, but since my husband will be watching football, I suspect it'll be errands and me grumbling about not wanting to go back to work.
Oh! But we did go to the Table at Season to Taste (Carl Dooley's place) for dinner last night, and holy hell, go there when you can! It was so delicious; I am going to be dreaming about that place.

One of my dearest friends is a chef there, but we actually haven't been yet! Doubly sad since its less than a 10 minute walk from my house. I'm glad you had a good experience!
scm1011 , I love that theater! We just saw Harry Potter and the sorcerers stone last night!
So comfy! We got one of those side 2 person pseudo-suites and it was such a nice way to see a movie. I had to laugh that my medium popcorn was EIGHT DOLLARS though. I'm used to cheap prices at Somerville and Capital Theatres.
5kcandlesinthewind, the movie was just okay, so you didn't miss much. Emily Blunt was amazing as Rachel though; I wouldn't be surprised if she gets nominated for an Oscar.

Thanks for letting me know! I remember being somewhat underwhelmed by the book - it was one of those ones that I read in like 2 days, and then thought "what the hell?" I'll probably watch it when it's on HBO/whatever. Glad you got out, though! We used to go to Assembly Row for movies all the time - those 2 seaters are the best.

Yeah, I thought the book was a bit underwhelming too.
Speaking of underwhelming books, I was happy to see you rated The Girls 2* on Goodreads. I couldn't even finish, and am so perplexed every time I see it on "must read books of 2016" lists. Glad it wasn't just me!

I almost didn't finish it - I probably shouldn't have bothered, but I was bored at work, ha. I really kept waiting for it to get good, but it didn't. I'm not even sure it was worth 2 stars, it was mostly schlock. They really need to add 1/2 star options on there.

We saw Girl on the Train there on Saturday night and I was so happy to have the recliners! Agree that the movie (and the book) were not that great.

Too funny! We went to the 4:45pm show Saturday. I was blown away how crazy busy it was down there. We tried to grab a drink/snack after the movie and every restaurant was PACKED. Who knew Assembly Row was a happening Saturday night hot spot?!

I know, every time we go over there, I'm amazed how packed that place is!
