I don't think anyone is a non-sporadic poster these days- ha! FWIW, I totally remember you and your adorable baby quilts- I hope you'll have a little person to wrap up in one soon!

Meh, it's been a year, I'm over it! :-) I do think that person should be banned from this exchange though. Maybe justinlove could check?

I am seriously sad about that, though- we haven't had a no-send since the days of the Nest, at least that I'm aware of. That was not cool. I agree, BANNED.

It was a bummer, especially after seeing all the awesome ornaments everyone made/received! I can't wait for this year!

I just looked it up.  I don't know how I can ban them--but if said person attempts to sign up, I will delete them from the exchange.  Mess with the ornament exchange and you are blacklisted!!!

Do you remember how many years we have been doing this?  I was trying to mentally remember all the ornaments from the exchange that are on my tree...and there are a lot!!

The earliest I can find pictures for is 2010- when we were still on the Nest board (you didn't run that one, but, you were definitely in). I'm pretty sure 2011 you took over and did the exchange MANUALLY (crazypants), but, I can see 2012-2015 in elfster.

So many names in that old 2010 exchange that are still around, though- that's awesome!

I'd like to participate but we're Jewish and don't celebrate anything that requires ornaments? On the other hand, if it's something really cool/fun/kitschy, I will totally hang it from the rear view mirror in my car!

This is totally within the scope provided you don't mind making an ornament!  I almost hope I get you.  I've got some wacky ideas.

Please do!! We can do a post here where you can list your favorite colors/things/collections/wants/do-not-wants, and there's always the anonymous Q&A and messaging on elfster.

I'm not entirely sure how to update my wishlist, but here's what I typed in the gift exchange discussion:

"Hello! I'm really excited to participate in this swap. I'm not Christian and we don't celebrate Christmas but I love things like these. What won't get hung on a tree will get displayed on a book shelf or dangle from my review mirror. I love kitsch! I also really love sci-fi (Star Trek NG, Firefly, Doctor Who), Sherlock, vintage themed things, pretend food, quilting, sewing, knitting, & crochet."
