We are looking into doing a cruise. It's kind of a long story but we are basically being gifted a family vacation and they would like us to use it on a Disney cruise. It's an incredibly generous thing and we are so grateful. The couple gifting it to us is asking me for a few dates that would work with us and dd1 and her school schedule. I need some help- I don't even know where to start. DD2 will be 3 next September. Should we wait until then so she can go to the kids club with dd1? Are certain times of the year better? Easter or Western Caribbean? I don't even know where to start.
The kids club are awesome- so I think I would wait until both kids are old enough to go. Then you and DH can book a dinner at Palo, the adults only restaurants :-) We've done November and January. November was good... but January was definitely cold. The water on castaway cay ( the Disney island ) was chilly. And we missed our stop in key west bc of the weather a different day. Both ones we did were Bahamas ( Nassau, key west, castaway cay)we have another one booked for next November to go to eastern Caribbean.
I'd definitely wait until she's 3 to use the kids club. We did our Disney Cruise when my boys were 3 & 5. Both LOVED the kids club. It was the highlight of their vacation. They made friends with the other kids on board, and got sad when we got off the boat to do other things. They wanted to stay and play there.
