I don't even like baseball and this is so exciting! My DH's late grandfather was the biggest Cubs fan, and he wrote on our pic that he hoped we'd stay married long enough to see them win the WS.

I grew up watching the Cubs and Harry Caray with my grandpa. He wasn't much of a talker but he would always talk to me and teach me about baseball. I wish he was here to see this. I stressed out to the very last out and now I'm fighting tears. Holy shit! The Cubs are going to the World Series!

My big brother has been a Cubs fan his entire life, though we're from Alaska. I moved out here a few years ago and adopted them as my team. I just got to call my big brother and tell him we're going to the World Series! I have tickets and I bought his ticket here. <3 I can't wait to share this with him. My husband is a rockstar and said my brother and I should go and he's sitting out since we only have 2 tickets.
Aawww I had forgotten this story. H is a huge Cubs fan. When he moved to the US they still only played day games so they would be on when he got home from school. The Cubs helped him adjust to the move.
As someone from a city that also had a pretty lousy streak until a couple of years ago, I am so happy for all the Cubs fans! It's so much more exciting when it has been so long in coming.

Go Cubs!
It is such an amazing feeling. Glad Cubs fans get to experience it like we did the last 2 years!

I bleed Cubbie blue, I'm so excited! My Dad has been hoping for a Cubs World Series his entire life, and it's finally here. I called him after the game, he was so happy, it was so nice to hear. He said he yelled so loud that he scared my niece so bad she jumped 3ft in the air (she was sleeping on the couch) and my mom was crying she's so happy. Go Cubs go! 4 more!

My DH is so thrilled. He has been a lifelong Cubs fan--his dad put on a Cubs game and held DH in front of it when he was only 45 minutes old.
It is very bittersweet for him because his dad passed away 2 years ago and would have absolutely loved to see this. I do not get into sports really at all, but it is so cool to see this and see DH so excited about it. We were only dating for 2 months when he took me to my first Cubs game. Very neat indeed.

I am a born and raised Cubs fan. My husband is a born and raised Indians fan. We've always joked... what are the chances of a Cubs/Indians series?!?" I can't believe it's happening!!! Bout to be a little awkward here at home though!!
