A good friend of mine just had a baby and I signed up to bring her a meal today (another friend started an online meal schedule). I texted her this morning to see if there is a good time for me to drop the food by but I haven't heard back. I know she has bad cell reception at her house, and obviously is pretty busy. So, would you still bring the meal by - assuming they were relying on it since it was on the schedule? Or would you wait to hear back confirming that today works?
I'm going to try and call her in a bit too, but am just thinking I may not be able to get a hold of her on her cell if she hasn't responded to the text.
I would take it to her. I know a friend of mine set up a food schedule for us for the first 2 weeks and only 2 people came through with it. It just meant that we had to find something last minute.
I would just take it by as well. Things could just be a little hectic still with adjusting and visitors that she may have forgotten if she heard her phone go off but I'm sure the meal will be a great site for them no matter what.

glad it worked out. i like this meal-a-day thing, and wish someone had it setup for me!! in any case, i would've brought it by anyways, if they weren't able to eat it that day, they could save it.
