Do you guys have these where you are? I feel like around here every lawn that has a Trump/Pence sign also has one of these, plus the occasional "Blue Lives Matter" flag. It makes my blood boil every time -- to me it's such (barely) coded racism. I despise this false dichotomy that you're either pro-police or anti-police. I am sure that other officers hate working with these awful cops with anger issues who get shunted around from department to department. Bleargh. Sorry, I just had to vent. Not surprisingly, the neighbors who repeatedly vandalized our (legally parked on the street outside our house) cars have one up, and it just seems so unnecessary. It's not like we didn't already know they were racist assholes. :-P

They enrage me as well because these are usually the same assholes that spout "All Lives Matter" but sure as hell go out of their way to make non-White, LGBTQ lives way harder.
ETA: I've seen some around my neighborhood, but mostly I'm seeing some blue ribbons around trees instead.
Yes, and I've noticed that the communities have pooled together to put the signs up in front of the police stations. I just shake my head at them.
What I did love was that a church in a nearby town has a huge "Black Lives Matter" flag hanging. I meant to check, but I don't think it's a Black church. Edit: I looked it up, it is a predominantly Black church. I still applaud them for taking a stand.

It's funny you mentioned this as I was driving the other night and I saw a store with an All lives Matter sign. I made a mental note not to ever shop there. I find it disturbing to see that type of stuff. I get it you are a racist, who me racist? Ass.
Got them all over the place, my kids won't be stopping at these houses either for trick or treating

This is where I thank my lucky stars that I now live in a black neighborhood. This is such bullshit. I'm sure the area where I went to high school has these on every lawn.
Never. I hear people talking about them and Trump/Pence signs, but I have never seen any. I don't go out of my county often though, except to go to DC. The 2 blackest places ever.
haven't seen that down my way...except right after the Dallas police shootings. My neighbor who is a super sweet somewhat clueless person took balloons and a thank you card to the police station, with I think a "honk if you love our police" sign. Then sent a note around asking all of us to do something to show our appreciation. Her husband is from Pakistan, so I I think she was just trying to do something positive after that event.
The one racsist sign I saw last year was about immigrants was at a gun shop/target range in the area and it was gone within weeks and never reappeared. I'd love to know how/why that happened.
Yeah, I think there's a big difference between actually appreciating police officers and doing something nice for them, and posting this sign which basically implies "We support police [and you don't if you're complaining about them shooting people like you for no reason]" Save
The town next to me announced October as "blue lives matter" month & used tax dollars to paint a blue stripe down the main road.
I want to spit every time I drive down that road.
how do people not see these actions as racially aggressive or threatening? I get so tired of the bullshit white people pull.
The town @natariru is talking about is known for being pretty racist. My brown ass drives speed limit and uses her signal without fail when I drive through, which is unfortunately every day as it's how I get to work.
I would be furious is my city used money we don't have to paint blue lines in the road.
I'm still picking my jaw up from the floor. Blue lines in the road are some straight up, sundown town bullshit. You know, because police can pull you over and end your life on those very roads, and the town wants to make it quite clear to you that they won't care.

I have only seen one trump sign and that same house has a blue lives sign. I curse them every time I drive by it. The blue lines and these signs are despicable and using tax dollars for that is just beyond messed up.

I love when white people are like "there's less racism in the northeast!" Haha, ok.
I know. After living in both places, I prefer my racism served straight up and ice cold like they do in the South.
