Are Jack-o-lantern clementines safe?

I have to do a Halloween snack for H's JK/SK class. I was thinking of doing those jack-o-lantern style clementines (where you draw a little face on them with sharpie). I'm sort of nervous that the sharpie will bleed through to the fruit.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

Should I pick something else?  Any ideas that aren't too time-consuming to prep?

The sharpie won't bleed through. You're fine.

You can also draw little ghost faces on string cheese. That's quick and easy.

I've done them before. Cute and easy! It won't bleed through. I also did the ghost face on string cheese this year which was even easier.

The last few years I've done orange fruit cups and drew jack-o-lantern faces on them

They are easy to do! They don't bleed through

I use sharpies on clementines and bananas all of the time. I draw things on them every time I send one for lunch.
