You and G look fantastic, as always!
Our friends are lame and don't do any adult Halloween parties, so we don't have costumes. I guess I could throw a Halloween party sometime and have an excuse for a dress-up party, but then all my friends would want to bring their kids along, womp womp. BRE!

@stellarsailor , that looks like a fun office! And I love the Lego movie, it was really funny!
I did at least hand out candy to the neighbor's kids. We almost ran out, but I was handing out generous handfuls. My coirker is a super health nut who only eats organic, low-sugar, gluten-free stuff, and I asked if she had any ToT'ers. She just said she doesn't hand out candy at all, even though she lives in a neighborhood with many kids and has a couple of nephews as well. I guess I could see her point of not wanting to spend money and hand out stuff she doesn't even eat herself, but I pretty much do it so the neighbors think we are friendly and not kid-haters, LOL.
I can kind of relate to her. Not the healthy stuff, obviously, but we don't pass out candy at all to TOT'ers. I think we did it one year but it freaked the dogs out pretty badly. I generally like kids and I think they always look cute for Halloween but we never TOT'ed when we were kids so I just have this tradition of turning off all of the lights and watching scary movies in the bedroom. This year, I had to do a paper but I watched Saw and Halloween!
Also, for as outgoing as I can be, I do not like interacting with our neighbors. They didn't even know I existed for the first 4 years. LOL
That sounds really bad but I promise, it just worked out that way!
I used to be a "keep to yourself" neighbor, especially when I lived in apartments because the turnover was so high and you almost never had the same neighbors for too long. I don't actively interact with them now, but I will say that after our house got broken into years ago, we went to all the neighbors on our small cul de sac and let them know what had happened and introduce ourselves. Our next door neighbors we do talk to more frequently, especially if any of us are going out of town, mostly to keep an eye on things that may seem sketchy and such.
One of the houses near us just had a new family move in, and the mom & her daughter came by last night, so that was my first time to meet her. The girl recognized our dogs from walking around and was excited to pet them, haha.
I will say the biggest hassle of doing the hand outs is that we have to keep our 4:20 time contained in the back bedroom so it doesn't stink up the entire house or waft out the door when we open it. I don't worry so much if a young kid smells it, but sometimes the parents are right there with them on the door step, too.
