We arrived Friday and are here for 11 nights. (BLT forb8 and AoA for the last 3) Having a blast. I think this might just be our favorite trip. DD1 turned 5 on Saturday. DD2 turned 3 yesterday.
Have an amazing trip. I just ordered our APs over the weekend so we can book FP for our January trip. If you get to see the new castle show, I want a review.
Have fun! I'm excited to hear about your full trip. When we eventually go in 2018, DS's will be a few months shy of 5 and I am contemplating starting at BLT then moving to AoA.

There is definitely no topping this trip. We went to a private vacation club Halloween party yesterday. There was only about 7 kids left for the last 20 minutes. Some special Halloween guests joined them on the dance floor. Here is a video of DD2.
Love your video! I've always wanted to hit the DVC special events, but they have yet to coincide with our trips. What a great experience for your kids.
We did that last year. We went to the last MNSSHP on November 1 and then saw the Christmas decorations and Osborne lights on November 2. My 5-year old was kind of confused... lol. It was fun though.

DVC members definitely visit the lounge at Epcot. It's cool looking inside. Plus it's a perfect spot to let the littles eat free snacks and watch cartoons in air conditioning while the big kids are on the bigger rides.

For the first time ever we ventured away from Disney and went to Legoland. Let me know if you have any questions. I have a 37 inch 3 year old and 43.5 inch 5 year old.
Did you like the combo of BLT and AoA? I am thinking about doing the same thing when we go. Our trip wont' be for another year so I have time to decide, but there was some suggestion that moving from a deluxe to a value resort would be difficult.

Start with the value and then move to deluxe.
My kids LOVED AoA. My husband and I just found it too overwhelming and crazy (lobby and food area not the pools because it wan't crazy hot), but I think if we had started with AoA we wouldn't have been bothered by the craziness as much. Our last 4 trips have been deluxes so I'm sure part of it was that we are spoiled by that. I will say we had no issues with there being too much noise in our room (we were on the 2nd floor).

Thanks. We stayed at AoA 2 years ago in a LM room, so I know what to expect from the overall experience. I wasn't sure how much of a shocker it would be to move from a deluxe. I guess I was hoping for an alternative opinion from what I've heard in the past.
My dad and step mom are meeting us there (most likely), so we could split the cost of a 2 BR suite. I don't know if they want to stay as long as we do, so my plan was BLT at the start of the trip with them and then move to AoA suite for a few days after they leave.
I like nice hotels, but I've stayed at my share of cheap places too. H isn't really picky either. I'll have to think about it.
