MOOKS - gift ideas for tweens?

DD1 is turning 11 in a few weeks and between her birthday and xmas I have no idea what to get her. She wants a Cozmo robot, but frankly once you convert to Canadian dollars it's just too much money.



I'm kicking myself because I just bought her new pj's and slippers which I should have saved for xmas

My 10.5 year old DD is getting:
-instax camera and accessories and film
-denim jacket
- shower radio
- memory foam pillow

What she really wants is a phone or an iPod, but it's not happening yet. Maybe for her 11th birthday. Maybe.

My oldest turns 10 the week before Christmas, the only thing she's asked for is an iPod and I'm probably going to do it because I don't really know what else to get her and don't want to get her random stuff just NOT to get her that. I did get her a snap circuit kit too and a couple games on sale at target this past week

DD (10.5) really wants some virtual reality glasses. We haven't even begun to look at them though to see if we'd consider it. I think we're going to get her some ski gear and a slack line.

What are your daughter's hobbies? Could you get her a robe to go with the pjs and slippers? Jewelry? Karaoke machine? Diary/journal? Books (DD loves The Daring Book for Girls)? Sports gear? A unicyle (sounds weird, but DD LOVES hers)? A pogo stick?
