My H is going to Orlando for business at the end of January. We're thinking of extending his stay and having me and ds fly to Orlando and go to WDW. I haven't been to WDW since I was a kid so 20+ years. Is three days enough? Where should we stay? We live closer to Disneyland and do that trip almost every year. Or would we be better off doing Harry Potter? I don't even know where to start so any help would be awesome. My h has a meeting January 26-28. We would fly in the 28 and stay till 31st or 1st.

I think I would stick with Disney. I would go with a monorail resort if it is in the budget. I would probably try to do MK, EP and AK. If you get park hoppers then I might consider HS.
I suggest eadywdw.com, disneytouristblog.com, and wdwprepschool.com for planning help. 6.5 is a great age to go.
We went for the first time last Jan. And started planning around this time of the year, so you have plenty of timw to plan a great trip. We had so much fun we are going back this Jan!
I suggest starting by figuring out which resort you want to stay in and then go from there. And of course you can come back here with any specific questions!

This. If he like Star Wars, then get the park hopper & do HS.
And I'd stay longer than 3 days if you can swing it.
