Do you wash new clothes before you wear them?

Underwear, yes. Except for that time I had serious gall bladder issues and had to run out to CVS and buy a pack of underwear.

Otherwise no. But DH does. Even when he orders online, and half the time he doesn't try it on first, then complains it doesn't fit and he can't return it.

For most clothes, no, but I always wash underwear before wearing.

I do. Sometimes I'll wear something without washing it, but I always wash stuff for DD - her skin is too sensitive not to.

Yes. I have sensitive skin and can sometimes react to the chemicals or whatever are on the clothes..

I am also grossed out by the fact that you never know who else has tried them on. I always wash them first except in a clothing emergency, like if I spilled something on myself or had to buy a sweatshirt because I was cold.

I wash new underwear and bras. Otherwise, no. For DS, I wash everything first.

Nope, never. Underwear if I remember to ( bad, I know). But I usually buy some thing and wear it the next day, so it is what it is.

Yes, almost always. But if the item is dry clean only I may wear it once first. I hate the way clothes from most stores smell and feel before washing.

Depends where I get them. If they're thrifted then yes. Underwear is always a yes unless they come in the sealed plastic like when I order from Aerie.

ABSOLUTELY!!! Have you SEEN how dirty fabric is? (I worked in a fabric store and after I stocked the fabric my hands would be black with dirt.) I also don't like the sizing and other things that are in used in fabric to keep it stiff when it is sew and it makes me itch.

I started doing this after working at Old Navy in college. People are so disgusting, and I don't want someone else's crotch crust all up in my business. The only exception is online ordering where it's obvious that it has never been on a body before.
