CRT vs CP

Which do you prefer for breakfast?

We can probably only do one of them.

Background - my oldest are boys and will be 5 and 4 when we travel

My oldest is beyond obsessed with princesses my 4 is into them but not crazy

This will probably be out only time we will ever go to CRT bc I assume he will out grow his princess obsession soon

Crt is hard to get and I heard cp is more fun better food etc

Would you just go to cry since it's a one time thing and it's a castle and let's face it mom would like to check it out too or go to cp?

Pros cons?

My h is indifferent he said castle would be cool but said seeing lots of different characters like those at cp would be cool too so he is no help

How hard is it to get cp?

If he's super into princesses I'd choose CRT. That said, I vastly prefer the princess breakfast at akershus if that is of interest.

I haven't done CRT (we chose Akershus due to price/credits), but CP is great. I love the Pooh friends and I've always found the buffet to be varied and fresh. The meals at CRT are plated.

I'd go with whichever menu and characters appeal to you most.

I loved the food at CRT and hated it at CP, but I wasn't at either place for breakfast, so maybe that's different.

I see lots of people on here getting tables at CRT. It's difficult, but not impossible, especially if you book as early as you are allowed.

DD and I ate at CRT and I really liked the food, but one of the pros for me was that I basically got the whole appetizer plate to myself. I saw tables of 8 people with just appetizer plate for all of them to share.

CRT is more expensive (2 credits on the dining plan) so DH and our then 1.5 year old twins did not go. Next time we go, we will do Askerhus if we do a princess meal at all.

That's a good point, I also went with my daughter so she got the kids' appetizer and I got the whole plate to myself.  had there been more people in my party we would have paid a lot more for not as much more food.  Same situation at American Girl café.
