Our son will be 18 months old when we go, I know every kid is different but how was your toddler on rides? There are a lot of rides he can go on but I'm thinking would be too scary for him. Like the Haunted Mansion, there's no way he'd like that, right? Lol. I'm even wondering if the Frozen ride will be too much for him. He loves Frozen, though. What did your toddler love? Anyways, feel free to share any experience or tips, it's our first Disney trip with a kid!

My kids have always loved Haunted Mansion. They've been going to Disney since they were 11 months old. All rides without height minimums have been well liked by them.

At 18 months I don't even think they understood the rude was considered 'spooky' it's actually DD2's second favorite ride. She just turned 3 at Disney 2 weeks ago. Then again she says Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie are her best friends.
My oldest grandson loved pretty much everything until he turned 2 1/2 or so. Dark rides/attractions didn't bother him and he loved anything with music before he developed the all the fears and became terrified of anything dark or loud.
I don't remember that really happening with my kids, although my youngest had a hard time with the loudness of some rides. For the most part she would just put her hands over her ears on her own to tone it down, and was fine.
We took E to Epcot with us this summer and she was right atv18 months. Weather was really crappy (just days before a TS hit the area) so we only managed 2 rides with her; Frozen and Nemo. She loved both and rode Frozen twice. We also did Busch Gardens that same trip and she enjoyed all the kiddie rides there too.
We're taking DS at 20 months this month. I think he'd have been fine with Haunted Mansion, but it's being refurbished so I won't know for sure.
I think he is going to love Jungle Cruise, Ariel, It's A Small World (though he may try to throw himself out of the boat since it's kind of long), Dumbo, People Mover and the motor speedway car thing.
Wow, I'm glad to hear that your toddlers seemed fine with everything! He never really seems scared of anything so maybe he'll love all the rides. I'll probably start him off on something short and slow just to make sure!
DS's were 15 months when we went. They rode Peter Pan, Dumbo, Ariel, Winnie the Pooh, and Tea Cups at MK. They also did the Great Movie Ride at HS. One got a little scared on the GMR and put his head on my shoulder but one was fine the whole time. I'm sure they would have been fine with Small World and Jungle Cruise, but they might have been stroller napping so DD and I went on those while DH stayed with the boys. We didn't do Epcot or AK so I can't comment on any of those rides.
At 15 months my son wanted to ride the carousel over and over. We actually spread out where we were standing on line so he could ride twice in a row. Also Dumbo and Flying Carpets. He did surprisingly well in shows too.

I am laughing at this because when I rode this when I was 6, it basically traumatized me for life
We're done more things. He loved the daytime parade, firework show, The Lion King at AK, safari, Jungle Cruise. He's been having a good time except he ended up with a stomach virus so those 2 days sucked.
