DVC, dining plan and gift cards

I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find it

We are going to rent dvc and were planning on using the dining plan

I have a ton of Disney gift cards

Am I able to pay for the dining plan with the cards or no bc it's dvc?

What about park tickets? I would have to buy directly through Disney and not a discount ticket site right?

Well shoot it looks like David's accepts Disney gift cards and dvc rental store doesn't

I put my request in today at dvc rental store but no one got back to me yet

Maybe I should do David's instead

You don't have to buy tickets directly from Disney if you rent DVC. However I don't know if any discount sites accept Disney gift cards.

Can you just buy the dining plan direct from Disney? I have no idea, we have never used it.

You can't you have to pay the owner to buy the dining plan for you

I figured it out David's accepts 6 Disney gift cards to pay for dining to protect credit card info from owner

So that worked out
Now I wait to see if we got the room
