I've been wanting to do this. Then I was trying to read the science behind it so then I stopped myself. I think I should just do it anyway, maybe I'll research it more a little bit.
When is the next trip you have scheduled for Brazil? It's great that you are planning to seek out some more ancestory when you go back! I need to do that.

I know mine will be mostly caucuses and European and Asian, but I'm hope the Asian will be Atleast 20-25% my mom is half Chinese and my dad being Iraqi means he has a 99% chance of having some Mongolian in him. I really want to have a nice chunk of Asian lol. Also a happy surprise to me would be Iberian P. Have a relative that is basque and that would be cool, also I would be so thrilled to have Atleast 5% African. The European would likely be around 15% but I just want to have everything lol
Here are my results - something like 60% African, 30% European and 10% Asian (which is prob Native American). My grandmother may be Mexican - she was adopted as a young child by Black parents in Arizona. Her birth name was Maria Gonzales.
I did mine this summer. I predicted some but that Irish threw me for a loop. Italy/Greece was another that surprised me but it overlaps with Iberian Peninsula so who knows exactly what went on there. Native American is South America since neither side of my family came here until the 1950s.
Someone that I don't know at all popped up as a 1st or 2nd cousin on Ancestry and I'm in contact with her. I have no clue who she is and the name she gave me as her dad isn't one I know at all. I'm curious as to who she is!

Got my results
I was surprised a bit.
I was 33% middle eastern 15% central asian (uzbek, turkmen, kazakhi) 3% east asian which I'm so bummed about. Was hoping for more, since my great grandfather was a chinese immigrant. He was most likely Kazakhi by blood though.
45% euro 18% euro west. Upon digging lots of French ancestors. 17% Italy greece (total shocker) 5% Ashkenazi Jewish which was really cool and I wasn't expecting that, but my mom has always had that "look" of a eastern European jewish lady, that's what most ppl assume she is. Trace regions of Irish and finnish north Russia.
0 native and the only African I have was <1 north African
I feel strange a other my results, none of what my mom thought she was was right
