I just got the one that my travel agent offered. I think it was under $200 for a family of five, five nights at WDW. My son ended up cutting open the back of his head and going to the ER for staples so I'm glad we had it! I'm in the process of filing my claim now that bills from the ER are starting to roll in.

absolutely worth it. (we travel from PA in the winter, so that alone makes it worth it to me. Especially after having to spend a night in the airport with no luggage when we should've been in disney.)

Our travel agent priced it out through a few companies and it was cheapest through disney for us this trip.

So to add a wrinkle we are renting dvc how would that work?

Some of the Chase Credit cards with the annual fees offer a lot of travel insurance when you booked the trip on that credit card. I learned this recently and was reading through the brochure and it covers a lot of scenarios. Worth looking into if you have one of these cards.
