23-30 at Caribbean Beach! It's us four plus DH's cousin and all of their extended family so a big group of 25. Should be nuts but fun I hope. Looking forward to it.

We will be there between the 11th and 15th! We're staying at the Contemporary. Our bands came today and everyone is so excited! This is the first Disney trip for my girls, age 5.5 and twins who are 2.5.
Were going in Dec and I just cancelled our Beach Club Villas 1 bedroom so we could get a 3 bedroom wyndham bonnet creek condo, I hope I don't regret that! It'll be nice to have so much room and it was way less expensive. We're able to stay an extra night and still spend $900 less on hotel.

Oh let me know. I've read good reviews. I loved the offsite condo we stayed in for our last trip so my next trip is the first time I'll be staying onsite as an adult and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it. It's nice to have lots of space and a kitchen.
We're going December 11th - 19th.....a triple split stay between Kidani Village (one night, a last minute add-on), Boardwalk Villas (4 nights), and Bay Lake Towers. It seems to be getting real now that the luggage tags have arrived and the Magic Bands are in the mail!!!

Please report back on where you stayed! I am torn for our December 2017 trip between AK and BLT. Then my mom threw in staying near Epcot as well.

Will do -- it's my first trip since I was a kid and I did DVC studios for my family and one for my parents..... We're definitely excited but I worry that 3 hotel changes will drive me nuts.
I'm going November 29-December 2. My son and husband were going to come and join me, but I had to cancel that part of the trip because my son has been having health issues. I'm sad but hope to make the best of my stay, scout out some things, and have even more background info for planning a future trip.
Anyone going before me please tell me if you see the drone show, Rivers of Light and Jingle Bell Jingle Bam to see what is the best.
Jingle Bell Jingle Jam was fun, Christmas-y and we really enjoyed it, but that was all we were hoping for......something to lift our spirits and get us in the holiday mood.
I would expect Rivers of Light to be a different kind of show and probably expect more from it, but all I want from the Christmas stuff is for it to feel like Christmas and to enjoy the moment.
One week from today, we'll be seeing the gingerbread house at Grand Floridian, eating ice cream at Beaches and Cream, and watching a movie under the stars at Caribbean Beach! I am so excited!!

We're down to 19 days! Will (DS) is so freaking excited. He didn't believe me when I told him we were at 19 days and he made me show him the countdown app. LOL
I should probably start making packing lists, digging out the summer clothes, etc.

I'm in the same boat. About a week ago I got all excited and started making lists. I quickly got overwhelmed and then gave up. We're now 2.5 weeks out, so I better get on this!
Make sure you check the weather closer to your trip. It was in the low/mid 40s this morning and is in the low 60s this evening.
It seems a lot cooler to us than the last two years have been. We're just hoping that it isn't like last year and in the 80s at Christmas.
Low 60s is still shorts/Capri weather. We live in Illinois! lol
I know, but it seems early to be cooling off like this, so it could be cooler when you come. I don't think we even wore long pants at all until the end of January because it was so hot last year, but I've worn jeans a few times this past week and shoes instead of flip flops, and it hasn't been too warm.
When we were at the dessert party last week it was cool-ish. We thought the people in jackets and sweatshirt were probably Floridians, (we weren't wearing them) but everyone in the stores were looking at warm clothes, and most of the ones we talked to at the party were actually from places that are already cold. They said even though it is cold where they live, they were still cold here.
My weather is showing highs of 75-82 but lows as low as 48 while we're there. I'm going to have to pack our whole closet to cover that temperature swing.
