If you died, would the board know?

Morbid I know but let's discuss anyway!

My H is also on a message board and they had a thread about this recently so we got to talking about it. If you died, would people on the board know? 

I know a lot of us are connected on FB so assuming your H/another loved one made an announcement there, we would know. But would they?

I figure between FB and TTH, lots of you would know if I'm gone. My DH knows to tell everyone.

Nope.

H never posts things to Facebook so he wouldn't say anything. I guess you may find out if someone were to tag me in something.

I am not sure how much DH would put on Facebook, but I know some other family members would.

He does also have instructions to post on water cooler so people in here know. He knows what the PB app looks like. Who knows if he can figure it out enough to post, lol.

I think DH would also post here, I mean the tab is always open on my computer so I think he could figure it out

Someone would post on fb. DH rarely gets on his so I don't know if he would think about it. I doubt anyone would get on here. Though I talk about the forums enough he should know to.

But he posts on some forums and I have no idea which ones or how to access them so I can't blame him for not knowing mine either.

My H would become a hermit so he definitely wouldn't post, but you guys would see long rambling memories posted by my siblings and quickly figure it out. Or travel bug could post since someone would call her.

H never posts on FB and I am not a big FB person either and he would never think to post here. He knows I post on a board but I doubt he would remember details.

Probably. I'm sure my H or family would tag me in a FB post or something regarding the funeral. I'm friends with enough people from here that someone would see. Either that or my social media would go quiet and you could assume I died.

I actually think about these types of things a lot. I feel like I should make H a list of what to do if something happens to me. I don't think he even has my mom's phone number.

H and I actually put our parents numbers in each other's phones last year. I didn't have his Dad and he didn't have either of my parents. We decided that probably wasn't smart.

I'm friends with a lot of you on FB so I'm sure you'd all know. I'm not sure if H would post here. He knows I post on a forum but I don't think he would know how to get here. I do have a favorite on my browser though so maybe he'd figure it out?

Facebook friends would know. I once told my H to post here if I died, but he'd have no idea which board. He'd probably pick the wrong one and no one would care.

This is interesting. H knows I have 'internet friends' but he doesn't know where the site is located so probably not. I am friends with a few local girls on fb but I'm not sure how much he would post there either.

More than likely not. No one here is on my fb page, other than TTH, but HoneySpider I don't think you know my real name. I mention that I'm part of a board, but I don't think I've ever said the the board name.

pooh8402 would definitely know since she's Facebook friends with some of my besties. I'm also Facebook friends with lots of y'all so I'm sure someone would stumble upon it eventually. I'm still alive by the way!
