We are driving up Wednesday to spend thanksgiving at the parks. We are staying at a good neighbor hotel and plan to spend Thanksgiving at CA Adventure. Dd (5yo) loves princesses so we have reservations for breakfast at Ariel's Grotto. We plan for me to check in and Dh to get fp for Carsland. Any other tricks or things we must do? Dh and I have never been to CA Adventure.
Friday we plan to be at Disney. I just made reservations for Aladdin's Grab and Go paint the night at 630. Is that worth while? Any other tricks for Disneyland? Dd scares easily so I imagine we will avoid things like Pirates and any of the roller coaster type rides.
DS is five Months so we plan to ride swap a lot and will bring the Ergo and stroller for him. I plan to stop and get them both first time buttons. We are bring food for breakfast at the hotel for the other two days and fruit and easy snacks like almonds and granola bars for in the park. What am I missing?

It will be crowded so be prepared to deal with lots of people.
There is a new holiday World of Color this year so you might look into doing that on Thanksgiving; there should be some type of WOC dining package.
Some restaurants in the parks will have a Turkey day menu on Thursday.
I love the Christmas parade and that might be worth checking out. PTN is just meh IMO. I've seen it multiple times and I really do not get all the love for it.
