Can you tell us about your new house? Pictures? MLS? Your favorite part? Least favorite? Move in ready?

Love....
- gas stove
- floor to ceiling built in book shelves in the formal living
- fire place (Santa has a place to come in)
- the garage is off to the side
- crown molding

Don't love...
- the new roof we have to put on the second we close
- the commute to down town
- a mortgage.

There are some minor repairs that need done, but nothing major besides the roof. But that one is going to sting.

I'm not sharing pics or MLS. I'm superstitious like that. Our only hangup now is securing insurance with a bum roof. But I'm nervous something could go wrong.

We are set to close on or before the 28th but we will try to close in the next week if possible.

Painting the inside of the house? Not right away. There walls are already all painted good colors, though some of the finishes aren't my style - like the faux black marble? ceiling in the bathroom.

Nope. Husband's first choice won. But I love the house, so I'm good with it!
