DS bumped his head at school (he's fine)

He is okay, but he hit his head on a ladder on the playground. His school nurse actually works part-time at the daycare/preschool he went to, so I'm glad he at least got to go to a familiar face. She said he's not showing any signs of a concussion but he's got a pretty good goose egg on his forehead (that will look nice in school pictures next week! It will make for a good story in the future anyway).

I talked to him on the phone and he sounded so little and and sad but like he was trying to be brave. I just want to go and snuggle him :-(

Sigh. At least I got the first call from the school nurse out of the way already!

Calls from the school are always scary! Glad he's ok.
