It is absolutely gorgeous and I couldn't put it on the tree to get lost, so I hung it on the wall in the kitchen. Literally everyone who has seen it thinks it's amazing, too.

Thank you SOO much, Redpoppy! I absolutely adore my little octopus! He is perfectly at home with my seahorses, Italian pasta fish, (don't ask) and beautiful jellyfish from cmeon last year!

cmeon, you outdid yourself. Not one, not 2, but 3 ornaments, each with a story. And the loveliest note to share the story of how she chose my ornaments. S loves the one for her, as well as the adorable Christmas barrettes. We get our tree tomorrow, and I can't wait to add these to it. Thank you SO much!

My beautiful little folded fabric ornament- I love the bright fabric choices, oneslybookworm , it's perfect! Such neat and precise folds!

She packed it in the cutest little mailbox tin (DD loves) and CHOCOLATES (we all love)! Thank you so much, it was wonderful to add this year's ornament to my collection! Also- I'm super glad I encouraged you to join! Ha!

ETA: That sounded like I don't love the mailbox- I do- I just meant OMG she LOVES- 7yo love is something else!

YAY, I'm so glad you like it!!  I really enjoyed making it as well...thank you YouTube!  As for the mailbox, no joke...Menard's.  They have a TON of metal tins for Christmas!

I'll tell you my secret. It's a stitch file from Urban Threads and the embroidery machine computer did all the driving. But I love their designs because they are so intricate and stitch out beautifully. I'm so glad you like him!

I post only very occasionally here, but always check the board daily for Ornament swap updates. Every year I say I want to participate but I have a crazy busy project every November and I am not dependable this time of year therefore don't enter.

I love all the handiwork. You guys inspire me!
