At the moment, H and I aren't doing Christmas. We have this argument every year. He says he doesn't want me to get him anything but he wants to spend a bunch of money on me, I say that isn't fair, he says that's what he wants, I say we aren't doing Christmas gifts if they're going to be one-sided, and eventually we find a compromise.
So far, no compromise has been reached for this year, so no Christmas gifts.

DH is getting a cordless drill, underwear from duluth trading co, an LL Bean shirt, some lights that you put on guy wires when you go camping so you don't trip on them in the dark. I don't know what else.
DH may have to wait until after Christmas due to me still not getting a paycheck in 5 weeks. I do plan on getting him a light he wants and battery charger for his drill batteries.
I did get him a bunch of Reese's peanut butter products that I plan on putting all in one box and wrapping.
So far I've bought him a fitbit blaze, a shirt, and a battery power bank.
I still have more ideas for him but I've spent as much as I really want to. I want to do stockings this year so I just need to buy some candy and I will be done shopping for him.

We have been getting a bunch of stuff for the house, so he is saying no Christmas gift for him. I think he is also secretly hoping Univ of AL makes it to the National Title game because it'll be in Tampa, and I know he'd rather his next 87 Christmas gifts be tickets to that.

So far I've gotten him a CD he asked for and an ornament he knows about.
I'm planning to get some fancy olive oils then need 1-2 more things.
Stocking so far is a bag of sour gummy candies and a meat stick. I'm going to get beef jerky for sure but don't have any other brilliant ideas yet. I'm hoping to be inspired when I'm out shopping.

Socks, white t shirts, and underwear so far. He mentions every year that these need to be replaced...last time he got new socks was our first Christmas together in 2009. I will buy him some of his favorite beers and haven't decided if I am doing a good gift card or cigars.
We haven't exchanged in a few years. We usually just treat ourselves to a nice dinner.
I may propose doing stockings since this is the first year I do t think our parents are giving us stockings and I want some Fannie May and Reese trees.
I have no idea. I would rather do a joint something this year as I don't really know what to buy DH. But I have no idea what joint gift we would chose either.
There's just been so many changes in the last month and more to come that it's hard to figure out gifts.

I am going to get H a nest and other stuff to make our house "smart" because he mentioned wanting that and we have an alexa. He also just started baking so I will get him some of the things he has mentioned wanting for that.

I got him Person of Interest season 5 (we have the other 4 and never saw the last season), a calendar for his work office (he's an aerospace engineer- I get him a plane/jet calendar that he likes every year), a locking 2 door cabinet for our garage, and a beer cap map like this:
For his stocking I have a new utility knife, a few ornaments, socks, a snowball scoop (plastic contraption with handles that grabs snow to form snowballs, lol), and my favorite gift of all...matching daddy/daughter socks.

So far I got him a game he wanted (he knows about it since we share the Amazon account) and this DaVinci set to build a clock. He saw it at Hobby Lobby and wanted it! I'm also probably getting him some pants and maybe a few more things. Not sure yet!
We aren't really exchanging this year due to going to Hawaii we are trying to be conservative. We are also getting new tires this month so not a whole lot extra for us to exchange. We will fill stockings and maybe one gift on the side, not exceeding 40 dollars probably! Therefore, for the first time ever I have 0 ideas for him...
I finally got H to agree on a spending limit, and I really want to get him a new wallet. He's still using one I got for him the first year we were dating, so it's like nine years old and completely falling apart.
