Dentists

Does anyone use a Dentist (preferably in South Tampa) that they recommend?

H and I need to switch dentists, but it is hard to find reviews or recommendations.

Dr. Krist on Davis Island is who we use. He was recommended to me by a pedi dentist who I swim with. I like them because they don't fill cavities to make $$. I swear my last dentist I had more cavities so he says than I've had my whole life.

I had the same experience regarding alleged cavities with previous dentists! It really frustrates me because I can't read the x-rays myself to argue with them.

Moon - That is interesting that you say that. I had 2 cavities when I was a cash paying customer at my dentist.... I go back 6mos later with insurance and all of the sudden, I have like 50 cavities in my mouth. Not seriously that many, but it was something ridiculous. I haven't gone back. I know that I need the 2 original cavities taken care of, as they are starting to bother me, but I think I need to find a new dentist.

It's VERY true. And my old POS dentist... yeah, he had to REFILL two of the cavities cause he sucked that bad.

I guess I should call around for a second opinion today.
