I know we often complain about how to get our LOs to sleep and we hate all the magic babies that fall asleep in seconds with no crying. For 2 nights and a nap, we have tried this trick. We read or sing while baby is in the crib. Then we turn the chair around (we have a swivel desk chair as our "glider") and lower ourselves so she cant see us anymore. Still reading/singing. Then we sneak out of the room (crawl) still reading quieter and quieter. Then quietly close the door. So far she has continued to think we are there. I am sure it wont work tomorrow, but 3 times is amazing for us.
If i crawled, my dog would think I was FINALLY paying attention to him and pounce me. But I hope your streak continues. I haven't had a full night sleep since Christmas.

We used to do that with DD. I don't think it helped her sttn because she woke up and we weren't there and she would wig out. But I army crawled all over our house for a good few months.
