I would do exactly what your lawyer said. I would ask him or her if you should show "your whole hand" at one time, or wait until he lies about something and you show proof to the contrary.

Remember that mediators are there to get you to agree. You know your stbxh more than anyone else in that room. If you aren't comfortable with the suggestions, do not agree.
