I'm waiting like a HAWK for our photographer to post our family pictures and L's one year shoot. I would have booked with her sooner....but it wasn't possible due to  her busy schedule. She's supposed to have them up by the end of the day. I'm super impressed with the fact that I have been good and haven't messaged her for a status update. (I WILL NOT bug her!) I have 4 different Christmas Card and Birthday Invite templates saved on Z.Azzle...ready to go. Because I need to order these like yesterday.

MrsMB At least you have card ideas figured out! I bought a groupon and I'm waiting for my pictures from the photographer but haven't even begun to look at card designs! I need to do that!

I don't have much planned for today. Meeting a friend for coffee in a little bit, we will see how I feel after that. I need to do some Christmas shopping and a few other things done, I don't feel as bad as I did yesterday but the acid reflux is still hanging around. 😞

I just got our pictures back from our photographer, I found a beautiful Christmas card I wanted but it's way out of the budget, so I think I'm going to go with a super simple one for this year!

I have today "off". I have to go into work for a meeting later today. Ugh! Today is my first day off in over 8 days and it's not really a day off. Work has been absolute chaos recently. Im so exhausted! I have barely had time to breathe! Yikes!!

I have so many things to catch up on today and we are doing thanksgiving dinner with my FIL tomorrow so I have to clean and prep today too and all I want to do is stay on my couch and watch tv!

I'm on the hunt for new podcasts to listen to. I don't want the distraction of having a TV on while I'm working, but I need some background noise.

I sorta had to. DH is very vocal about being involved in the process....but he also takes a while to make decisions. I knew we'd be cutting it close with getting the pics in. ha!

I'm getting our cards from Costco this year. They are photo cards as opposed to card stock, but at 15 dollars for 50, I couldn't pass it up.

Do we know if everyone who wants to do the holiday card exchange has signed up?

Our Christmas cards came in yesterday and I love them! I'm starting addresses tonight I love addressing envelopes!

I decided not to bother with Christmas cards this year. I always design and order them, and then forget about them until it's too late to send them out. I still have a stack of cards from last year that never got sent!

I've been avoiding working on a particular project and doing every other single assignment today...it's a project that isn't due until the end of the month (and I'm 90% done already). But this last section requires me to work with some documents from our CNO. She is uh....technically challenged. I went and helped her with some things before Thanksgiving. I'm assuming what I showed her stuck because I finally got the guts up to check her section just now...and almost all of her documents came over correct. There is just one document that is completely jacked up. Out of the 8 she had to send me, I'll take that as a success!!!

So I've been watching cheesy hallmark Christmas movies. They are so predictable but I can't stop lol.

suzv- so jealous! L IS just like his big brother...totally cute but sucks at sleeping. He has slept 4 hours a handful of times but the norm is a 3 hour stretch followed by way too many 1- 2 hour stretches and most mornings he finishes by sleeping on me (otherwise he is up between 4- 5a). Naps are now 30 min too unless on me or in the carrier. I remember this all to well with C...months 2- 4 we're SO hard. I am planning to sleep train again at 4 months and just pray it works...at least C showed he was capable of long stretches...so far, L is not.

amaranth- ((hugs)) I totally thought S was your unicorn baby for some reason. Sorry to hear she isn't sleeping well, especially at 9 months. You are superwoman...dont know how you do it all with such little sleep.

christy082- I am so tempted to do Costco cards as well. We never do cards but we have professional photos that I want to use this year. But, even with how cheap they are they really aren't in our budget this year since we have so many expenses between L and moving (I would have to use my fun money, which is also running low).

Not much going on here. Did a few chores this morning and have been trying to get L to nap most of the day. C has also been playing in his crib for almost 2 hours...this afternoon should be fun with two overtired boys. Oh well. I need to call my old neighbor. She texted this morning and I told her I would try to call and catch up.

The last of my SS stuff showed up, so I'm getting ready to pack it up and mail it out! Are we okay to mail things this far away from the deadline, or should we be waiting until closer to the 16th?

Yay! I'm done too! I've been done for a few weeks except I want to add in some homemade cookies so that's my project tomorrow. I picked a box up today to mail it

I think I'm just confused because I'm always that person who doesn't have everything together until the day of the deadline. Being ready to mail stuff two weeks before the deadline is not normal for me. lol.

This is my issue too. I usually mail the last possible day because I hate the post office lines, even if I've been done for weeks.

Do you have any stores like Postal Express near you? I never go to the actual post office, because it's so much quicker to go to a non-USPS store that just supports USPS.

We just can't ever get there when they're open! The desk is open pretty much the exact hours I work and only an hour on Sat. H gets a longer lunch than I do so I could have him run over to the one closer to work one day!

Buy your postage online so you can just drop off the package either at the post office or in one of the blue boxes if it will fit!
