I don't wear much makeup, but I was thinking of a NARS lip crayon or the UD eyeliners.
I'm thinking about a good moisturizer, I'm 37 and I feel like my skin keeps getting drier. I use Olay now and I think I need to step up my game.
Any gel moisturizers that you love that aren't crazy pricey? Or a better suggestion?
I was going to just go to Sephora and see what they suggested, but I worry that they'd just push whatever they were getting bonuses on or something.
Thanks!
Re: gel moisturizers. My paulas choice moisturizer is called skin balancing moisture gel. I looooooove it. I think the site is 15% off? Plus $10 off (and I'd also get $10 off in full disclosure). 99% of my skincare i
To answer the rest, I don't find NARS lip products to be love wearing. Is that a requirement for you? You may enjoy the UD revolution sheer lipsticks too. I'd test some options out if you're going to Sephora.
UD eyeliners never stay on me but I know a lot of people claim long wear.
I prefer the Bite crayons to Nars. I love Nars concealer
I second the Aqua Bomb. I also like the Algenist anti-aging oil but a lot of the ladies here like the Drunk Elephant products and they have a set out now with a full size B hydra gel moisturizer and deluxe sample sizes of a bunch of other stuff. I really like my vitamin C Serum from them
I love the UD liners- never had a problem with wear time. I like the Nars lipsticks ok, but I don't think they're any better than Bite or UD too.
As far as moisturizers, I use a lot of AB creams, but from Sephora, I also love the Belif products. I actually prefer the Moisturizing Bomb to the Aqua one, but that's just personal preference. Ole Henriksen's Sheer Transformation is also good, though this one is more cream than gel. I also love Caudalie's Moisturizing Sorbet! However, if you're having good luck with the Olay moisturizer, but just want to add some more moisture, you might consider a night oil where you could add just a drop or two to your normal cream. For that, I'd recommend Fresh's Seaberry Oil.

Sephora Brand makes a good eyeliner that I think is better than UD for half the price. I used to buy the UD ones all the time but since I had a associate recommend the Sephora one, I haven't looked back. Also, I haven't ever had a problem with them trying to sell me on a product. If they recommend a product that is more than I wanted to spend, they have always been great with helping me find something similar at a better price point for me.
Have you thought about a tinted moisturizer with SPF? As for gel moisturizers, Clinique makes nice ones! The Moisture Surge line is good and is a decent price point. I did not like the Belief Aqua Bomb. I think it might have alcohol in it and it really bothered my acne prone skin, but a lot of people seem to love it.
Sephora is really good at giving you samples to try at home before you buy anything. I do this with higher end items sometimes just to be sure I want to spend my money on them.
ESF, Thanks - I called and got my code and immediately ordered something before I lost it. I got the Skin Inc. Revitalizing Peel which I used all of and LOVED so I felt it was a good re-purchase. I didn't want to buy much because I have a lot on my holiday wish list!

I can't recommend the Sephora liners enough. I love their pencils, the glitter pencils, and I get a more precise line from their liquid liners than I do from the beloved Stila or KvD. They make my holy grail liners (Flirting Game and Blueberry Muffin) and I'll legit cry if anything happens to them.
I'm a VIB Rouge but have not received my gift card. Does anyone know when it should have come?
I got it Friday but then they sent me another today because they hadn't sent me the Rouge one. If you still don't have it, call the Rouge line. It expires the 14th.
I do lactic acid exfoliation twice a week and I use Good Genes every day so I though there wasn't a heck of a lot more I could be doing, but wow this is amazing.
