Oh he TOTALLY thinks he's a hero. As a comments section contributor put it - he didn't HAVE to do this, he could have continued to run his empire but instead he gave that up for us to help our country!

He is motherfucking Jafar, I swear to god.
He has all this power but wants UNLIMITED power (the presidency)
So thankfully soon he will learn it is "Unlimited (cosmic) power...itty bitty living space (shittons of people to answer to and all sorts of restrictions)."
I apologize in advance for what you won't be able to unsee:
wait, so if KellyAnne is the hero, and DumpsterFire is there with her, he's.....the villain? Is that how it works? Does he understand that?
No I didn't take it that way at all. He is a hero to everyone at this party. Republican donors.
edit to add: The host described the election as an apocalyptic choice and Trump would save us. So I actually took the "honoring the ultimate hero" comment from Kellyanne as a statement about Trump.
In a pre-event article about this party, Kellyanne said he was going to be too busy for the party because of his thank you tour but apparently he made it after all. Also, according the article, she was planning to go as Bannon, who she said was a villain to liberals and the media, but a hero to everyone else.
