If anyone could help me sort of quickly that would be great! We got annual passes online, we're driving to WDW and going straight to Epcot because I don't think our offsite hotel room will be ready. How do I provide the parking attendant with the info that I have an annual pass? We haven't checked in or gotten the passes yet. We do have magic bands, is the info in there for them to scan?
Just trying to avoid holding up the line. Thanks!!

Huh? Are the APs linked to your MDE? If so then they should show up when they scan the MBs.

I don't know what MDE means? But I think you answered my question that it's linked to the magic bands. I was just not wanting to pay for parking since it's supposed to be free when you have an annual pass! Thanks!

My Disney Experience. So when you go into the app can you see the APs?

Sometimes you have to pay and then get reimbursed. If they aren't active yet a voucher doesn't get you free parking when they scan your band at least it hasn't in the past.

Yes. I just haven't actually checked in and shown my proof of FL residency or anything.

Ohh k that's what I was worried about! I guess I'll just find out when we get there.

I would just try. Usually, when I say I'm an AP holder, they just wave me through without checking. Sometimes they ask for my card. But usually not. If they ask, just explain that you are activating it today and hopefully they let you go.

They have been checking my card and ID lately. I would probably expect to pay for parking and get reimbursed later.

Good to know. They haven't checked mine at all since this summer. IME, the ones at magic kingdom tend to be less likely to check...maybe because they have so many cars going through with the resorts and such? I don't know.

Wow...they don't ask for anything? I have to not only give my card but also my drivers license. My boss says they have scanned his magic band. I have not tried it since it is fast to give them the two cards.
OP- we got our AP's and got reimbursed for the parking we had paid that day. I would try printing a receipt for your purchase and have the drivers license ready for verification, and see if that works.

They have never scanned my magic band, and I am always wearing at least one of mine on the arm I stick out the window. I had no idea that was even a possibility. I have just made it a point to have my card and driver's license out, but the other day I only had only picked up my pass off my lap and the guy asked for my ID and went over it pretty carefully. I wonder why I get all the scrutiny. ^o)
Even with the scrutiny it is pretty quick and not really an inconvenience, so not really a big deal...just kind of weird if others are just waived through.

Yeah, I wonder why they are inconsistent and I agree, the process is very quick as long as we have the cards out. Also, I would say half the times we visit, DH gets sent to the metal detectors. Always him. Lol
