We're moving into our newly renovated house (MIL's house) on the 19th, so we'll be doing a lot of organising/unpacking of stuff during the holiday. On Christmas day, we're going to a friend's house - we've gone there the last three Christmases. They smoke the turkey and are amazing cooks. I'm bringing dessert.
I'm going home! For the first time in TWO YEARS! It is going to be insanely busy but I'm excited. I can't believe I haven't stepped foot on US soil for so long.
We're going to have a quiet family Christmas here in France and then my FIL and his wife are coming the 27th. Excited for our first Christmas as a nuclear family.
We are going to Dubai. I'm having surgery week after next and plan on taking full advantage of Atlantis' kids club to recover in somewhat of a semblance of peace.

We don't have any big plans. We sort of did our Christmas traveling this past weekend when we went to Vienna. We're saving our big trip home for the summer.
We did invite the Marines from the embassy over for Christmas dinner, so we will have a full house on the 25th!

This yr we r only taking 10 days since i recently went back to work, it is dh's family's turn so we r just going to france. Luckily my parents are able to join us bUt we wont see my sis which makes me really sad. Im excited bc my mom is bringing me jcrew clothes for work and some workout clothes and magiclip dolls for dd. We also might look at some apts if they are still on the market in2 wks, which is unlikely in paris.

Have you been before? Let me know if you need any recommendations. I go there pretty often on weekends and know the city pretty well :-P

We're heading to the US also. A week in NYC (and seeing Hamilton) and then we'll head to Pittsburgh to see my family. We're usually in Europe and Doha for the holidays, so this is going to be very different! Hoping it'll still be great though. My family is pretty excited!
This is the first time in a while that I've been able to take almost 3 full weeks off from work, so it should be a nice break!
We are going to SE Asia. I'm pretty sure this will be our last Christmas overseas, at least for a while. π’ But my family is coming with us! For the first time they're all flying over here for the holidays. Including my 91yo grandma. Even she is going to Laos and Cambodia. I'm sure this will be an adventure.

I spent October and November in the US with my family, so we're having a quiet Christmas/New Year's here. I'm sorry to be missing New Year's Eve with my parents -- it's my Mom's birthday so it's always been very special for us. But I'm happy about the quiet holiday.
Cicero hope the surgery is easy and recovery is speedy.
