Benzoyl peroxide drops? I’ve never heard of that. Benzoyl peroxide is usually in a gel/cream form & used for acne. Are you sure she didn’t mean to say hydrogen peroxide? Or maybe there’s some new product I’ve never heard of. Either way, I wouldn’t do that. You might damage it more than help it. Plus, you’re problem isn’t wax anyway.

My grandmother used to put this in our ears after swimming in the pool. It fizzes and dries up whatever is in there. Sometimes it won't work right away and we will be playing hours later and it would finally "pop" and drain.
My doctor told us to use rubbing alcohol for water in the ears, like after swimming. It definitely works and feels kind of funny. Never heard of using hydrogen peroxide or benzoyl peroxide like this though.

I put the hydrogen peroxide on a cotton ball and then tilt my head to the side and squeeze the stuff into my ear, wait a few minutes and then tilt the other way to drain it out.
NOOOOO! if you have fluid BEHIND your eardrum, drops will do nothing! please don't do this. drops of hydrogen peroxide will only help if you are built up with wax. otherwise, it will just dry the skin out.
