I haven't done any crafts in a long while, but I'm wanting to start again. I miss it! I have a bunch of scrapbook paper that I'm wanting to use, but I don't have any ideas. I'm hoping to work on my sewing, make jewelry, and would also like to learn to knit. Any ideas or advice?
Buy yourself a knitting "lesson" (actual lessons, virtual online lessons, a book you like, or just the supplies and time to sit down and watch Youtube videos) for holidays/NY/because you deserve it.
I've never scrapbooked a thing in my life, but, I use scrapbook paper and cardstock all the time. I use it for decorations, gift tags, cards, little gift boxes/bags, ornaments, a modern mobile- I've used it to decoupage wood projects- it's useful stuff.

I definitely recommend youtube for knitting...if you're interested in crochet at all, I actually learned from CraftyMinx and her crochet school. I loved it because she has a left hand and a right hand tutorial!
I know lots of people are anti MLMs but I recently got back into papercrafting by having a Stampin' Up Workshop. The demonstrator came and brought four projects and all the supplies and we paid like $15 a person to make each thing. It really inspired me to get back to it. I'm really terrible at coming up with ideas for things but I can copy other people's creativity. lol

As far as jewelry making goes, I pick up kits like these frequently:
I don't need the findings or tools (I probably have 6 pairs of pliers already) but they are a great way to get inspiration for new designs. I don't make all the designs, sometimes I just cannibalize the parts for future use.
