I got some Penzeys frozen pizza seasoning. Do I put it on before it goes in the oven or after it's done? It's a bunch of dried spices and garlic.

My grandparents put it on before the oven, or, if delivery, on then the oven again for a short time.
Not a dumb question. My SIL once asked how to boil water.

I vote before
You could also add some after and I'm sure it would be delicious, but I like a lot of seasoning on stuff

I'd put it on before, but under the cheese layer--that shit will burn easily and then taste funky.

I did it before and then added cheese. It's pretty good. I think I'll add more.

In general you want to use dried herbs while cooking so the flavors meld, and add fresh herbs at the end of cooking (like sprinkling on fresh basil).
