DH's battalion is moving to South Korea. They've already held one town-hall to answer questions. They posted a reminder today to their facebook page about the next town hall.
The last one was from 3-5 on a Thursday. The next one is from 10-12 on a Monday.
Seeing as I work during the day, these times kinda suck. Also seeing as I plan on joining DH in South Korea (assuming all the screenings turn up clear), it would be useful for me to attend one of these.
So I wrote a polite note as a comment to the facebook post, asking if they planning on holding any of these townhalls in the evening, so that spouses who work during the day could have the opportunity to attend.
Apparently, someone noticed my comment. I told DH about it at lunch, and he just texted me to say "your FB post hit the radar". Here's hoping it's a positive response, and DH isn't being lectured about having an annoying wife.
I'm starting to feel a bit like "captain obvious" for pointing out this type of thing. And yet, it really does seem like it's something that honestly doesn't get noticed until it gets mentioned...
I agree with Brandie that your request is not annoying but they will probably schedule the meeting for 5 or 6 which means you'd have to leave super early to avoid that nasty traffic!
