I'm looking for an eyeshadow that is easy to apply on my eyes. One color! I just don't have time in the morning for more. I'm thinking maybe a softer white with maybe a little shimmer to it. Does anyone have any recs? I tend to shop at Nordstrom (online). I don't mind spending a little more money on my eyeshadow since i am not adventurous and tend to wear the same thing everyday.
Nars Himalia Duel Intensity shadow would be good for one shadow looks. It's a shimmery toupe shade that looks great on the lid and I've blended it up into my crease. Emilynoel85 on YouTube has a couple videos all about one shadow looks with recommendations if you want some ideas. I also like using just Bronzer blended in the crease for a quick eye look.

I'd go for the NARS Alhambra duo. Either shade can be worn alone, or you can wear them together with the pinker shade all over and the gold in the crease.
this. Burberry eyeshadow would be my choice for one too. Depending on your coloring stone or porcelain (latter has more shimmer) for a your lids but better. Rosewood eyeshadow is also beautiful.

It's not high end and it's not a whiter shader but Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze is amazing. I'm not very talented when it comes to eye shadow but when I use this stuff it looks like I actually made an effort with multiple colors and blending. All I do is smear it on with my finger tips. It looks dark in the pot but sheers out quite a bit if you want it too. Like you, I'm not adventurous with Eye Shadow and bought this stuff to try to step up my game a bit and it's a win!

I've been doing this practically every day since summer started :-)
I've been using Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in Birthday Suit, but I just checked and it looks like it's been discontinued :-(
I'm allergic to the Maybelline Color Tattoos, but if you can use them, they're awesome. I'm a huge fan of cream shadow because you can just swipe it on with a finger.

Colourpop works well for this too.
I bounce between colorpop Bill and HankyPanky and Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze. Hanky Panky may be the first color cosmetic that I actually use up. Ever.

Is all the Colourpop eyeshadow a cream? Or is some of it powder? I can't tell when I look at their website.
The only place to order is on their website, right?

It's a...powdery cream? It's a different consistency than the other cream products I have. More like one of those liquid to powder foundations? except solid. I believe they're all that same formula, though some of the colors are squishier than others with no rhyme or reason to it that I can pick out. My Bill is softer than my Hanky Panky, and then I have two metallic colors that are a bit...wetter? They all go on equally well just using my finger tip. The metallics are more of a dabbing thing, the mattes I just smear all over the damn place.
I have no idea if this will make any sense, but Bill in particular reminds me of floam but just far far far finer grained. remember floam?
And yeah, I don't think they sell through anybody else.

This stuff is awesome! I also like the creamy beige color for something a bit lighter but still browny tan.
I'll third this. It's a perfect wash of color and you can get a cheap one from their site (the refills). I'll also second Burberry Rosewood. It's a perfect single shadow.

I got a Laura Mercier caviar stick in my Sephora Play box last month in rose gold and I am obsessed with it. Super easy and blendable and the color is gorgeous.

Urban Decay Y2K L'Oréal Infallible Amber Rush MAC Woodwinked MAC Satin Taupe
I like mid-tone neutrals for a one shadow look. Every brand has a multitude of them. Formulation-wise, I think NYX and L'Oréal Infallible (drugstore) and Urban Decay and Anastasia (high end) have the best singles.
